2. Principles of Data Processing
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). Processing only takes place where a legal basis exists – for example for the performance of a contract, based on your consent or to fulfil legal obligations.
3. Website Access (Server Log Files)
Our hosting provider automatically collects technical access data, including: IP address, time of access, pages visited, data volume transferred, browser and operating system information and the referrer URL. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in the security and stability of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is stored for a maximum of 14 days.
4. Contact by Email
If you contact us by email or via the contact form, your name, email address and the content of your enquiry are stored. The legal basis is your consent or the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(a), (b) GDPR). The data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Contact via WhatsApp
Our website offers the option of contacting us via WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland). If you use the WhatsApp button on our website, you will be redirected to WhatsApp, where you can send us a message.
Please note that when using WhatsApp, data is transferred to Meta (formerly Facebook). This includes, among other things:
- Your phone number
- Device information (operating system, device model)
- IP address
- Usage data (time of the message)
- Message content (end-to-end encrypted)
Meta may also transfer this data to countries outside the EU/EEA, in particular to the USA. Meta has committed to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
Using WhatsApp to contact us is voluntary. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking the WhatsApp button. Alternatively, you can contact us at any time by email at anfrage@wirmachenwg.at instead.

6. Cookies
This website only uses technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the website. Marketing, analytics or tracking cookies are not used. Separate consent is therefore not required.
7. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties
Your personal data is only disclosed if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so or if you have expressly consented. Our hosting provider acts as a processor on the basis of a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
